How To Retrain Your Brain To Overcome “Microwave Mentality”

Results from longer term thinkingNowadays, we tend to live in an instant gratification culture. When we try something new, we want results and we want them fast – hence the microwave metaphor. We want results now. I read recently that successful people tend to be longterm thinkers and I’m starting to understand why. I tend to always underestimate how long things take which means I set myself up for disappointment.
