10 Habits Of The Wealthiest People In The World

MoneyDo you ever wonder what makes the wealthiest people in the world, so wealthy? I find the topic of “success” an interesting one as success leaves clues. (Success is in quotes as of course we all have different definitions of success – but here, I’m referring to wealth.) I don’t believe that the wealthiest people in the world have the biggest brains in the world. It’s their mindset, their psychology and their application to their livelihood. As Einstein once said: “It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s that I stay with problems for longer.” Whatever we focus on expands – unless we’re trying to sell ice to eskimos of course. Here are 10 habits of the wealthiest people in the world. You may not be surprised to see that one of their habits is to focus on one thing at a time:

10 habits of the wealthiest people in the world

1. They are goal setters

Rich people set goals that make them rich. People don’t become rich by accident. Rich people are very deliberate: they set goals to become rich and they eventually achieve those goals. A laser beam can cut through very hard objects—it can cut through almost anything, in fact—and this is because of its unusual ability to concentrate all its power on a particular spot on the object until it begins to melt. Rich people are usually like laser beams. They set outrageous goals, but they stay focused on that one goal, directing all their activities and efforts towards achieving that goal until they accomplish it. Average Joes, on the other hand, often have no focus; they just tend to do whatever comes their way and take whatever life hands them. If you want to be rich, be goal oriented and stay focused.

Well I never – the first of the habits of the wealthiest people in the world is that they’re goal setters! Do you know of anyone who is very wealthy who doesn’t set goals? Do you know of any entrepreneurs who don’t set goals? Unless we set goals, we coast through life and life happens to us rather than we taking control of our lives. I was surprised to see that focus was not the number one habit listed here as focus is crucial to success. I don’t know of a single person who’s successful and not laser-focused. Might there be any exceptions? Is it possible to work on say two or three ideas rather than one simultaneously?
